A Self-Guided Bike Tour is a type of cycling adventure where you have the freedom to plan and navigate at your pace. Our dedicated tour guide and support team will handle hotel bookings, logistics, and baggage transport, ensuring you enjoy a hassle-free and carefree experience.
Relax
Stages up to 50 km per day with a maximum of 600 meters of climbing. They are conceived for guests that ride their bikes twice per week on roads without major climbs. Usually, you are back at the hotel in the early afternoon.
For guests that want more riding, we can add extra loops to regular stages.

Tour briefing, bike fitting and warm up ride.
Arrival at Olbia Airport and transfer to Arzachena. We’ll introduce the tour and we’ll help you out with the bike fitting. According to arrival time we’ll go for a short warm up ride, just to explore the amazing beauty of the Costa Smeralda coastline.

Ride through the beauty of the world famous coastline of Costa Smeralda.
Starting directly from your hotel, you’ll do a loop inland. After just few km on main road, we’ll pedal on a beautiful countryside back road till the Village of San Pantaleo. Here we’ll have a bit of rolling terrain, immersed in the Mediterranean bush. This road will let us cruising all the villages of the famous Costa Smeralda. Starting from the Golfo di Cannigione we’ll cross Baia Sardinia, Poltu Quatu, Liscia di Vacca, Porto Cervo and finally we’ll reach the beaches of Capriccioli and Romazzino. These crystal water coves will be the perfect places to swim, have an Ice Cream or just rest.

Riding along the deep blue sea of La Maddalena and Caprera islands.
Immersed in one of the most pristine landscapes of the world, we’ll discover small sandy coves, incredible granite formations carved during the centuries by the wind, and a sea that shows all patches of blue, emerald, green. La Maddalena island is connected to Caprera island, home of Giuseppe Garibaldi, hero of Italian unity. The ride is just stunning, and during spring you’ll admire this islands at its best.

Today you can enjoy our last bike ride, exploring the Santa Teresa di Gallura Countryside. You’ll cross the inner northern part of Gallura, another peaceful ride immersed in the wild beauty of this area. You’ll spot many “stazzi”, ancient and simple farmhouses, that are now being converted in classy homes in the countryside. The goal of the day is the hill perched village of San Pasquale, from where we’ll have a great view over the northern tip of Sardinia. If you are lucky you could spot our sister island Corsica. From here it’s a piece of cake until Santa Teresa, a lively and colorful village right at the end of the island. Then back to Palau along a countryside road.
